Nose Heather honey, raisins and orange peel with baked apple, dark chocolate, toasted walnuts and polished oak. Palate Rich and layered, with dried figs, fruitcake, honeyed malt, dark chocolate, roasted nuts and orange marmalade joined by warming sherry spice. Finish Long and elegant, with lingering dried fruit, cocoa, honey, toasted nuts and mature Oloroso oak.

Distilled in 2002 and bottled in 2026, this exceptional 24 year old Aberfeldy was matured in a single Oloroso sherry butt, yielding just 636 bottles at a natural strength of 54.1% ABV. Aberfeldy is only rarely seen as an independent bottling, making this mature single cask release especially appealing. The distillery's naturally honeyed, fruity character works particularly well with long maturation in Oloroso sherry oak, which adds layers of dried fruit, chocolate, roasted nuts and warming spice while preserving the elegant Highland style beneath. After 24 years of maturation, the whisky shows impressive depth and integration. Expect rich sherry character alongside heather honey, orchard fruit, orange, dark chocolate and mature oak, with the 54.1% ABV giving the whisky excellent weight and concentration without overwhelming its balance.

The Distillery

Les frères John et Tommy Dewar fondèrent la distillerie Aberfeldy en 1896 et commencèrent à y distiller deux ans plus tard afin de garantir un approvisionnement en whisky de malt écossais de qualité pour leur gamme de blended scotch John Dewar & Sons.
