Tasting Notes
Teaninich 10 Year Old 2015 Lady of the Glen is a highly limited Highland single malt Scotch whisky, independently bottled by Lady of the Glen. Distilled in 2015 and bottled in 2026, this 10 year old Teaninich was matured in a single first-fill Pedro Ximénez short octave, cask #302792B, yielding just 52 bottles at a powerful 56.8% ABV. Teaninich’s naturally fresh, cereal-led and fruit-driven spirit provides an excellent counterpoint to the concentrated influence of a small first-fill PX octave. The cask brings layers of dark fruit, raisins, treacle and chocolate to the whisky, while retaining the distillery’s characteristic citrus, malt and orchard-fruit freshness. With only 52 bottles drawn from the cask, this is an unusually small and distinctive release. The presentation is equally individual. Created in collaboration with local artist and designer MARINELLO STUDIO, the bespoke label takes inspiration from one of the defining moments of Scotland’s recent qualifying campaign: Scott McTominay’s spectacular overhead kick. The artwork brings a contemporary Scottish cultural reference to this rare single cask release, combining whisky, art and a memorable moment of sporting drama.
