Tasting Notes
Nose Sea spray, lemon peel and soft bonfire smoke with vanilla, orchard fruit, honeyed malt and gentle oak.
Palate Lively and full-flavoured, with peat smoke, citrus, sweet malt and vanilla alongside apple, salted caramel and warming spice.
Finish Long and smoky, with lingering citrus, sea salt, vanilla, gentle peat and lightly spiced oak.

Distilled in 2017 and bottled in 2026, this 9 year old Bowmore was matured in a single first-fill barrel, cask #56, yielding just 268 bottles at a powerful 57.0% ABV.
Bowmore is known for combining elegant peat smoke with maritime freshness, citrus and subtle fruit, and this youthful single cask expression keeps that distillery character firmly in focus. The first-fill barrel adds sweetness, vanilla and gentle oak spice, while the underlying spirit delivers sea spray, bonfire smoke, lemon and orchard fruit. Bottled at high strength, it offers a lively and expressive take on classic Islay single malt.
This release forms part of the Lady of the Glen Samhain Series, where each whisky is paired with a tale inspired by Scottish folklore and local legend. The evocative labels are created by Edinburgh-based artist and designer Steven Shand, whose intricate artwork and storytelling draw on more than 15 years of experience in the Scottish whisky industry. Together, the whisky and artwork capture the haunting, atmospheric spirit of Samhain and Scotland’s rich cultural past.
