Colour Chestnut.
Nose Sweet & phenolic - that unmistakeable Islay peat reek is there, but softened with age. Cigar smoke - fruity and spicy. Big notes of burnt toffee. Parma violet notes linger. Mossy and earthy.
Taste An oily, viscous dram. Big legs. Soft peat and herbal, medicinal notes combine seamlessly with some very sweet flavours - Demerara sugar, caramelised treacle and cinnamon. Chocolate chip brioche rolls and blueberries.
Finish Soft and elegant.
