Tasting Notes
Nose without Water Hints of raisins and prunes with a defined rich Sherry nose. A lingering marzipan aroma develops. Palate without Water Rich fruitcake, nutmeg, and cinnamon flavours. A dark chocolate and coffee edge develops.
Strathisla 1964 Vintage Speyside single malt Scotch whisky. Matured in First fill Sherry butt bottled 2013 by Gordon & MacPhail for the distillery labels series.

Strathisla Distillery, founded in 1786, is one of Scotland's oldest working distilleries, nestled on the banks of the River Isla in Speyside. Renowned for its picturesque charm, the distillery features iconic pagoda roofs, classical stone walls, slate roofs, and a historic water wheel set against a vibrant heather garden. Strathisla participates in the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival, celebrating its rich heritage. Known for producing exceptional single malts, it is also home to rare vintage releases, including 1960s and 1970s editions in the Gordon & MacPhail distillery labels collection.
