Linkwood Distillery was established in 1821 by Peter Brown in the Scotland’s Speyside whisky region. Linkwood Distillery is a malt whisky distillery equipped with six stills and whilst a large percentage of Linkwood whisky flows into blends of scotch an increasing volume is appearing as single malt whisky and there are some excellent independent releases of Linkwood single malt whisky. Linkwood Distillery participates in the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival.
Nose: Sweet with subtle Sherry influences and festive spices. Hints of toffee, apple and almonds develop
Taste: The palate has chilli spice with ripe banana and apple flavours. A dark chocolate and brazil nut edge lingers.
