Yamazaki Distillery, founded in 1923 by Shinjiro Torii, is Japan's oldest malt whisky distillery, located near Osaka on Honshū, Japan's main island. Nestled in a region celebrated for its pure waters and unique climate, Yamazaki has played a pioneering role in Japanese whisky production.
