In der Nase reichhaltige Noten von Karamelläpfeln, Pflaumenkompott und dunkler Schokolade, mit Anklängen von Leder, Vanilleschote und Backgewürzen. Am Gaumen vollmundig und geschmeidig, mit Aromen von Medjool-Datteln, gewürzter Orangenschale und Haselnusspraline, untermalt von Eichengewürzen und Melasse. Der Abgang ist lang anhaltend und elegant, mit Noten von Trockenfrüchten, Kakaopulver und einem Hauch von Nelken- und Zimtwärme.

The Distillery

Royal Brackla Distillery, founded in 1812 by William Fraser in the grounds of Brackla House near Nairn, holds a prestigious place in Scotland’s whisky history. Its still house, overlooking a picturesque line of three ponds, creates a stunning reflection on calm days. Awarded the Royal Warrant by King William IV in 1835, it is one of only three distilleries to bear the "Royal" title. Believed to be a component in Andrew Usher’s first legally blended Scotch in 1860, the distillery’s releases include the Royal Brackla 12, 16, and 21 Year Olds, celebrated for their elegance and heritage.
