Signatory Vintage was founded in 1988 by Andrew Symington, and has become s one of Scotland's most respected independent Scotch whisky bottlers. Starting out as a specialist cask buyer to becoming a globally recognised name in whisky, Signatory has developed relationships with many of Scotland's distilleries to allow them to release exceptional single malt and single grain Scotch whisky.

Today, having bought Edradour Distillery in Perthshire, at the start of the century, Signatory Vintage bottles whisky with a focus on authenticity and flavour. They do not chill filter or add colour, allowing whisky enthusiasts to experience each cask, and distillery, as naturally as possible.

The Whisky Barrel has enjoyed a long-standing relationship with Signatory Vintage. They continue to be one of our most trusted independent bottling partners. We have worked closely with Signatory to create a number of exclusive single cask bottlings available only through The Whisky Barrel, including some exceptional Macallan and Glenlivet casks. Many of these we sampled in the very warehouses they were maturing in.

We continue this relationship with exclusive releases in order to bring our customers around the world, the opportunity to purchase and enjoy truly unfettled Scotch whisky.

Signatory Vintage Cask Strength Collection - Perhaps the flagship range, the Cask Strength Collection features single cask whiskies bottled as they come from the Cask. They showcase the whisky exactly as it matured, offering maximum flavour intensity and individuality.

Signatory Vintage Un-Chillfiltered Collection - One of Signatory's most popular ranges, although has now taken a backseat recently, the Un-Chillfiltered Collection is bottled at 46%abv without chill filtration. These whiskies retain more natural oils and texture, delivering a fuller flavour experience; a key consideration for the whisky connoisseur.

Signatory Vintage 100-Proof Edition - The Signatory 100-Proof Edition range has become an absolute fan favourite over the past couple of years. Bottled at 57.1% ABV (100 Proof - UK standard), these whiskies combine quality, flavour and genuine affordability from a wide range of renowned distilleries.
