The palate offers a full-bodied experience featuring layers of sweet sherry, caramelized figs, and ripe plums, complemented by undertones of vanilla and nutmeg. The finish is long and satisfying, with lingering notes of oak, spice, and a gentle wisp of smoke.

The use of an Oloroso Octave cask—a smaller cask holding approximately one-eighth the volume of a standard sherry butt—allows for greater wood-to-whisky contact. This results in a deeper infusion of the rich Oloroso sherry characteristics, enhancing the whisky's complexity and depth.
