Tasting Notes

In der Nase entfalten sich weiche, fruchtige Aromen, durchzogen von einem Hauch Torf, der sich mit Honignuancen vermischt. Am Gaumen präsentiert sich der Wein geschmeidig und entwickelt sich allmählich zu einem wunderbar weichen Mundgefühl, das in reifen Fruchtaromen mündet, die von feinen Torfnoten umspielt werden.

The Distillery

Royal Brackla Distillery, founded in 1812 by William Fraser in the grounds of Brackla House near Nairn, holds a prestigious place in Scotland’s whisky history. Its still house, overlooking a picturesque line of three ponds, creates a stunning reflection on calm days. Awarded the Royal Warrant by King William IV in 1835, it is one of only three distilleries to bear the "Royal" title. Believed to be a component in Andrew Usher’s first legally blended Scotch in 1860, the distillery’s releases include the Royal Brackla 12, 16, and 21 Year Olds, celebrated for their elegance and heritage.
