Tasting Notes

Nase (ohne Wasser): Zarte Sherry-Aromen, gefolgt von Kompottbirne und floralen Noten. Brombeer- und Apfelkuchen mit einem Hauch von Kakaopulver. Gaumen (ohne Wasser): Weich und cremig mit Vanille-, Karamellapfel- und Schokoladenaromen sowie einem Hauch von Gewürzen. Reife Birne und Limette entfalten sich zusammen mit Banane.

The Distillery

Longmorn Distillery, founded by John Duff, George Thomson, and Charles Shirres in 1893, is a prestigious Speyside malt whisky distillery located just north of Fogwatt beside the Strathspey Railway. Equipped with eight stills, Longmorn produces deep, sumptuous single malt whisky primarily for renowned Scotch blenders. While the distillery does not have a visitor centre, it frequently participates in the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival, offering exclusive tours to select guests.
