Die Linkwood Distillery wurde 1821 von Peter Brown in der schottischen Speyside-Region gegründet. Die Malt-Whisky-Brennerei verfügt über sechs Brennblasen. Während ein Großteil des Linkwood-Whiskys in Blends verwendet wird, erscheint ein zunehmender Anteil als Single Malt Whisky. Es gibt einige exzellente unabhängige Abfüllungen von Linkwood Single Malt Whisky. Die Linkwood Distillery nimmt am Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival teil.
Nase: Zunächst frische Früchte und Kräuternoten, Minze und Wassermelone. Ein Hauch von Bienenwachs bleibt im Abgang.
Geschmack: Grob gemahlener schwarzer Pfeffer mit reifer Banane, Vanille und einer dezenten Note von Zigarrenasche.
