Glenrothes Malt Master John Ramsay hat nun zugestimmt, dass die letzten Tropfen für die neueste Version dieses großartigen Vintages vermählt und abgefüllt werden. Glenrothes
Die Glenrothes Distillery wurde 1878 von James Stuart im engen Tal des Rothes Burn westlich von Rothes in der schottischen Speyside-Whiskyregion gegründet. Heute ist sie eine der größten Malt-Whisky-Brennereien Schottlands mit achtzehn Gärbottichen, zehn Kupferbrennblasen, die in einem imposanten, fast schon kathedralenartigen Gebäude brennen, und einem traditionellen Pagodendach. Die Glenrothes Distillery nimmt am Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival teil und ist ein wichtiger Lieferant für die Blends Cutty Sark und Famous Grouse.
