Tasting Notes

Nase: Sehr intensiver Duft. Rotweinnoten. Fruchtig – rote Pflaumen und schwarze Trauben (aber keine Melonen, Mann!). Bonbons, sehr subtile Noten von dunkler Schokolade und ein Hauch von süßer BBQ-Sauce. Geschmack: Ein Fass, das offiziell und etwas vage als „Refill Butt“ bezeichnet wird. Farbe und Geschmacksprofil lassen jedoch vermuten, dass es sich um ein Refill-Sherryfass handeln könnte – dies lässt sich aber weder bestätigen noch widerlegen. Süß und fruchtig, aber nicht aufdringlich – da es sich um ein Refill handelt, ist der Whisky etwas weniger intensiv. Aromen von Honigwabe, Demerara-Zucker, Marzipan, gedünsteten Sultaninen und Zimt. Zum Schluss ein Hauch von frisch gemahlenem schwarzen Pfeffer.
