Glenlossie, 22 Jahre alt, 1995 Carn Mor Celebration

Glenlossie Distillery, founded by John Duff in 1876 on the western outskirts of Fogwatt in Scotland’s renowned Speyside whisky region, has a storied legacy in the world of single malt Scotch whisky. In 1896, a private rail line was inaugurated to connect Glenlossie with two neighboring distilleries, facilitating the efficient movement of goods and providing seamless access to the Morayshire Railway, which enabled swift distribution to global markets. Equipped with six stills, Glenlossie produces a light, elegant malt whisky that plays a pivotal role in crafting a diverse range of Diageo’s blended Scotch whiskies. While official distillery bottlings are limited, Glenlossie’s exceptional single malts are highly sought after through independent bottlers such as Signatory Vintage and the Connoisseurs Choice range, offering whisky enthusiasts and collectors exclusive access to its distinctive expressions. Glenlossie Distillery continues to uphold its tradition of quality and craftsmanship, making it a respected name within the competitive Speyside whiskylandscape and a favorite among those seeking refined and versatile Scotch whiskies.
