In 1972, a new distillery was constructed nearby, allowing both the original and new GlenDullan facilities to continue producing exceptional malt whisky until the original distillery closed in 1985. The historic GlenDullan retains its iconic pagoda roof and is now repurposed by Diageo for warehousing and workshopoperations. Today, the majority of GlenDullan’s malt whisky is seamlessly integrated into renowned blends such as Dewar’s, Bell’s, and Johnnie Walker, highlighting GlenDullan’s significant contribution to the global scotch whiskyindustry. While official distillery releases are limited, Glendullan remains a celebrated name among whisky enthusiasts and collectors, underscoring its enduring legacy and pivotal role in Scotland’s esteemed whisky heritage.
