Tasting Notes

Aroma: Süße Sherryaromen vermischen sich mit braunem Zucker, Orange und Zimt. Cremige Vanillepuddingnoten verbinden sich mit Milchschokolade. Geschmack: Zunächst süß mit pfeffrigen Noten. Aromen von Kompott führen zu frischer Orangenmarmelade und einem Hauch von gemahlenem Kaffee. Geröstete Eiche wird im Abgang von einer Grapefruitnote begleitet.

Glen Grant Distillery, founded in 1840 by brothers James and John Grant, experienced such success that Glen Grant No. 2 was constructed across the road in 1897 to meet soaring demand for its Speyside malt whisky. Situated in Rothes and equipped with eight stills plus an on-site bottling plant, Glen Grant remains a cornerstone of Scottish whisky craftsmanship. Visitors can explore a meticulously maintained Victorian garden—created during the late 19th century—nestled in the valley behind the distillery. Over the years, Gordon & MacPhail has released exceptional vintage single malts from Glen Grant, including rarities dating back to the 1950s, underscoring the distillery’s enduring legacy and timeless appeal.
