Nase: Kräftige Sherry-Aromen mit Noten von Orangenmarmelade, Marzipan und Rosinen werden von einem Hauch Bienenwachs ergänzt. Eine dezente Rauchnote ist wahrnehmbar. Geschmack: Zunächst weißer Pfeffer, gefolgt von Grapefruit- und Orangenaromen, die sich mit dunkler Schokolade verbinden. Ein Hauch von schwarzer Johannisbeere und Blaubeere sorgt für einen fruchtigen Abgang.

Glen Grant Distillery, founded in 1840 by brothers James and John Grant, experienced such success that Glen Grant No. 2 was constructed across the road in 1897 to meet soaring demand for its Speyside malt whisky. Situated in Rothes and equipped with eight stills plus an on-site bottling plant, Glen Grant remains a cornerstone of Scottish whisky craftsmanship. Visitors can explore a meticulously maintained Victorian garden—created during the late 19th century—nestled in the valley behind the distillery. Over the years, Gordon & MacPhail has released exceptional vintage single malts from Glen Grant, including rarities dating back to the 1950s, underscoring the distillery’s enduring legacy and timeless appeal.
