Clynelish
Die Clynelish Distillery ist eine Malt-Whisky-Brennerei in Brora an der Sutherland-Küste, inmitten der schottischen Highlands. Die ursprüngliche Clynelish Distillery wurde 1819 vom Marquis of Stafford gegründet, und 1967 wurde in unmittelbarer Nähe eine neue Brennerei errichtet. Clynelish Distillery, located in Brora on the Sutherland coast within Scotland’s Highland whisky region, traces its heritage back to 1819, when the original distillery was founded for the Sutherland Estate. In 1967, a new, adjacent distillery replaced the original site and has since undergone significant expansions—now boasting six stills and serving as a key contributor to Johnnie Walker’s renowned blended Scotch portfolio. Recognized as part of the Classic Malts of Scotland, both the Clynelish 12 Year Old and the Distillers Edition epitomize the distillery’s dedication to producing characterful, high-quality single malt Scotch whisky that resonates with enthusiasts worldwide.
