Dieser Old Malt Whisky verströmt ein kandiertes Aroma von Vanillepuddingpulver, Birnen, Äpfeln und buttrigem Mürbeteiggebäck. Am Gaumen präsentiert er sich seidig und süß mit Noten von Toffee und Butterscotchsauce, gefolgt von erneut Äpfeln und Birnen – diesmal mit einer leichten Würze. Der Abgang ist lang und leicht trocken mit einem angenehmen, leicht süßen Nachgeschmack.

Clynelish 20 Jahre alter Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky aus dem Jahrgang 1996. Abgefüllt im März 2017 von Hunter Laing & Co. für die Old & Rare Platinum Selection aus einem wiederbefüllten Einzelfass (Hogshead). Auflage: 295 Flaschen.

The Distillery

Clynelish Distillery, located in Brora on the Sutherland coast within Scotland’s Highland whisky region, traces its heritage back to 1819, when the original distillery was founded for the Sutherland Estate.
