In der Nase Mandeln, Äpfel und Birnen, mit einem Hauch von Meeresbrise. Am Gaumen Noten von trockenem Gras, glasierten Äpfeln und dunkler Schokolade. Der Abgang ist lang und von anhaltender Süße geprägt.

The Distillery

Bunnahabhain Distillery, founded in 1881 on the northeastern tip of the Isle of Islay, sits by Bunnahabhain Bay, overlooking the Sound of Islay. Originally constructed with materials ferried by puffer and unloaded at the distillery pier, it’s now tucked away at the end of a single-track road with spectacular coastal views. Equipped with four large, pear-shaped stills, Bunnahabhain produces Scottish malt whisky for both blends and single malt or single caskbottlings.
