Tasting Notes
Sherriffs gilt als Vertreter des alten Bowmore-Stils und ist ein eher fruchtbetonter Whisky, wie er von späteren Besitzern der Brennerei hergestellt wurde. Der Whisky präsentiert sich in einem sanften Mahagoniton und ist sehr vollmundig. Aromen von Rosinen, Orangenmarmelade und Aprikosen sind in Nase und Gaumen deutlich wahrnehmbar. Der Abgang ist lang und wärmend, mit fruchtigen und maritimen Noten, einem Hauch von Rauch sowie Anklängen von Jod und Tabak.
Bowmore 42 Jahre alter Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky aus dem Jahrgang 1974. Abgefüllt im Januar 2017 von Signatory Vintage aus einem einzelnen Hogshead-Fass (Nr. 4435) für die Cask Strength Rare Reserve Collection. Limitierte Auflage von 183 nummerierten Flaschen.
