Dieser tiefgoldene Whisky verströmt in der Nase ein wunderbar fruchtiges Aroma von reifer Mango, Passionsfrucht und Orange, begleitet von einem feinen, leicht medizinisch-kräuterigen Torfrauch. Am Gaumen entfalten sich weitere Mango-, Blutorangen- und Feigennoten, Menthol, eine mineralische Note und ein Hauch feinsten Heidehonigs. Der Abgang ist lang, fruchtig und vollmundig mit einem letzten Hauch von Islay-Torfrauch.

Bowmore Distillery, founded by David Simpson in 1779 on the shores of Loch Indaal on the Isle of Islay, is recognized as one of the oldest working distilleries on Islay and among the earliest malt whisky distilleries in Scotland.
