Tasting Notes
Nase: Mineralisch und salzig mit Anklängen von Brennnessel oder sogar rauchigem Rooibostee. Gezähmter Rauch und erdige Noten von Keramik, feuchtem Ton und einem Töpferofen werden von süßem Lavendel und Schalentieren ausbalanciert. Gaumen: Jahrzehntelange Reifung im Fass haben den traditionellen blumigen Rauch dieses Bowmore zu einem prickelnden Aroma von in Zitrusfrüchten eingelegten Schalentieren gezähmt, die sanft über einem Holzfeuer geröstet werden. Das Mundgefühl ist kreidig und prickelnd wie Edinburgh Rock, der auf der Zunge zergeht. Abgang: Ein sanfter, den Mund austrocknender Rauch verweilt lange am Gaumen. Was für ein außergewöhnlicher Islay Whisky!
