Nase: Schwarze Johannisbeere, brauner Zucker, Orange, Pflaume und Rosine. Gaumen: Frucht und Sirup. Haselnuss mit einem Hauch von Zimt und Zitrone. Eine Karamellsüße trägt zur Komplexität bei. Abgang: Frisch und fruchtig mit lang anhaltender Eichenholzsüße.
Auchentoshan Three Wood Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Gereift in drei verschiedenen Fasstypen: amerikanischem Bourbon-, spanischem Oloroso-Sherry- und schließlich Pedro-Ximénez-Sherryfass.

Auchentoshan
Originally built by John Bulloch around 1800 and licensed in 1823 as Duntocher Distillery, Auchentoshan Distillery adopted its current name in the 1830s. Perched just north of Dalmuir by the River Clyde, Auchentoshan once sat in open countryside but now borders the northwestern edge of Glasgow, not far from Loch Lomond. One of the few Scottish distilleries to employ full triple distillation, Auchentoshan produces a uniquely light and refined Lowland single malt. Independent bottlings from Wemyss, Hunter Laing, and Cadenheads remain highly popular, reflecting the enduring appeal of Auchentoshan’s smooth, approachable character.
