Established in 1815 by John McDougal, Ardbeg Distillery is located on the Kildalton Peninsula of the Isle of Islay—a region celebrated for its peaty single malts. Drawing soft, peaty water from Loch Uigeadail and Loch Airigh nam Beist in the hills behind the distillery, Ardbeg crafts an iconic range of whiskies, including the highly regarded Ardbeg Uigeadail and Ardbeg 10 Year Old.
