Glenlossie 1998 vintage Speyside single malt Scotch whisky. Matured in Refill Sherry casks and bottled 2014 by Gordon & MacPhail for the Connoisseurs Choice range.

Glenlossie

Glenlossie Distillery was established to the west of Fogwatt in Scotland’s Speyside whisky region by John Duff in 1867. A private rail line opened in 1896 to connect Glenlossie with two neighbouring distilleries which enabled efficient movement of good between distilleries and gave Glenlossie Distillery access to the Morayshire Railway and hence speedy connections with the wider world. Glenlossie’s six stills produce a light malt whisky which is used primarily in the production of Diagio’s blends of scotch whisky.
