Mortlach 10 Year Old 2016 is a bold and richly sherried Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, bottled by Signatory Vintage as 100-Proof Edition #843. Distilled in 2016 at the celebrated Mortlach Distillery in Dufftown and bottled in 2026, this limited release has been finished in first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry butts. Bottled at the series' signature 100 proof strength of 57.1% ABV, it pairs Mortlach's famously robust spirit with the intense richness of PX sherry casks. Known for its weighty, savoury and complex character, Mortlach is particularly well suited to rich sherry maturation. The first-fill Pedro Ximénez finish adds generous layers of raisins, dates, treacle, dark chocolate and warming spice, complementing the distillery's muscular malt, dried fruit and meaty character. The result is a powerful and full-bodied Speyside whisky with impressive depth, texture and intensity.
