Millburn 35 Year Old Rare Malts 1969

Bottled 2005. Millburn is from another closed Inverness distillery, once owned by the Haig family. Millburn Millburn Distillery was established in Inverness as Inverness Distillery in 1807 and renamed Millburn Distillery in 1876. Millburn Distillery was situated in Scotland’s Highland whisky region and produced malt whisky until closure in 1985. Some buildings were demolished in 1988 and the remaining buildings now form part of a Premier Inn and Restaurant and Millburn Distillery’s round brick chimney is still standing.  This very rare warm gold Northern Highland 35-year-old's rich, peppery rum and raisin aromas introduce a big, smooth-bodied dram with sweet-pepper flavours drying to a herbal, cooling finish.
