Glenugie
Glenugie Distillery was established in 1831 as Invernettie Distillery and renamed Glenugie in 1837 then substantially rebuilt with local red granite in 1875. Glenugie Distillery was situated just south of Peterhead in Scotland’s Highland whisky region and produced malt whisky for blending. Closed in 1983 and the few remaining warehouses have been converted to workshops.

글레누지
글레누지 증류소는 원래 1831년 도널드 맥클라우드 & Co.에 의해 인버네티 증류소로 설립되었으며, 과거 수력으로 운영되던 곡물 제분소 부지에 세워졌습니다. 1837년 글레누지 증류소로 개명된 후, 1875년 지역에서 채취한 붉은 화강암을 사용하여 대대적인 재건축을 거쳐 건축적 위엄을 한층 높였습니다. 스코틀랜드의 명성 높은 하이랜드 위스키 산지인 피터헤드 남쪽에 위치한 글레누지 증류소는 1956년 증류기를 두 개에서 네 개로 늘려 생산 능력을 확장했으며, 주로 유명 스카치 블렌드 위스키에 사용되는 고품질 몰트 위스키를 꾸준히 생산했습니다. 성공적인 운영과 위스키 산업에 대한 공헌에도 불구하고, 글레누지 증류소는 1983년 문을 닫았고, 남은 창고는 현재 작업장으로 개조되었습니다. 오늘날 글레누지 싱글 몰트 위스키는 공식 및 독립 병입 제품 모두 매우 희귀하여 전 세계 위스키 애호가와 수집가들에게 높은 인기를 누리고 있습니다. 스코틀랜드 하이랜드에 남아 있는 잊혀진 증류소 중 하나인 글렌우기는 스카치 위스키 세계에서 여전히 존경받는 이름으로, 풍부한 유산과 몰트 위스키 생산에 있어 오랜 전통을 자랑하는 것으로 유명합니다.
