Filled during the distillery’s golden seventies and drawn in September 2015, this spirit reposed for over four decades in a single Caribbean rum cask perched beside Sandend Bay. Only 184 bottles emerged—this being Bottle #1—each released at natural cask strength, non-chill-filtered and natural in colour. The long union of Highland malt and rum-soaked oak layers sun-ripened fruit, demerara sweetness and a whisper of sea-spray into a dram of rare elegance and exotic depth.
