Nose Raisins, orange peel and baked apple with honeyed malt, dark chocolate, toasted almonds and gentle Oloroso spice. Palate Rich and layered, with dried figs, orchard fruits and sweet malt alongside cocoa, caramel, roasted nuts and warming spice. Finish Long and warming, with lingering dried fruit, honey, orange zest, toasted nuts and polished sherry oak.

Distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2026, this 16 year old release was drawn from single refill Oloroso sherry hogshead #806922, yielding just 235 bottles at a robust 57.1% ABV. Glen Elgin is known for its soft, fruity and gently waxy Speyside character, and maturation in a refill Oloroso hogshead allows that distillery style to remain clearly defined. The cask adds layers of dried fruit, orange peel, chocolate and toasted nuts while preserving the underlying orchard fruit, honeyed malt and subtle floral character of the spirit.
