Craigellachie was designed by Charles C. Doig and established by Alexander Edward and Peter Mackie in 1888. Craigellachie is a malt whisky distillery and one of the few Scottish distilleries which continue to cool their new spirit in traditional worm tubs. Most of the whisky is matured elsewhere and flows into White Horse and Dewar’s blends of scotch. Nose sweet fruity and aromatic. Palate malty with a delicate sweetness.
