Bladnoch 20 Year Old Year Old 1993 Vintage Lowland single malt Scotch whisky. Matured in hogshead casks #774 + #775 bottled February 2014 by Signatory Vintage for the Lowland range. Bladnoch John and Thomas McClelland opened Bladnoch malt whisky Distillery in 1817 on the northern bank of the River Bladnoch at Bladnoch Bridge just upstream from Wigtown in south west Scotland. Bladnoch Distillery is a small Scottish Lowlands malt whisky distillery and the most southerly of all Scotland’s working distilleries. Closed in 1993 but back in production again in 2000. Bladnoch Distillery is equipped with just two stills, produces peated and unpeated single malt whiskies and fills just a few hundred casks annually. Visitors welcome in the Bladnoch Distillery visitor centre where distillery tours are available.

1817년 존과 토마스 맥클렐런드 형제가 설립한 블래드녹 증류소는 스코틀랜드 남서부 위그타운 상류, 블래드녹 강 북쪽 기슭, 블래드녹 다리 근처에 위치한 유서 깊은 로우랜드 싱글 몰트 위스키 증류소입니다. 두 개의 소형 증류기를 갖춘 이 아늑한 증류소는 오랜 세월 동안 여러 차례 문을 닫았으며, 가장 최근에는 2009년에 폐쇄되었지만, 현재 대대적인 보수 공사를 거쳐 2016년 말 재개장을 목표로 하고 있습니다. 독특한 로우랜드 싱글 몰트 위스키 생산으로 유명한 블래드녹 위스키는 고든 앤 맥페일(Gordon & MacPhail)과 헌터 라잉(Hunter Laing)의 올드 몰트 캐스크(Old Malt Cask) 시리즈를 비롯한 여러 독립 병입업체를 통해서도 판매되고 있어, 스코틀랜드 위스키 유산에 대한 이 유서 깊은 증류소의 특별한 공헌에 대한 지속적인 관심을 불러일으키고 있습니다.
