One of 284 individually numbered bottles from a single hogshead cask number 664. Bottled 2006, this is the second release from the John Black selection series of single cask bottlings. An absolute cracker from one of Scotland's most underrated distilleries. Tullibardine Tulliebardine Distillery was designed by Wm Delmé-Evans and established in 1949 on the site of a 12th century brewery in Blackford village close to Gleneagles Hotel on the southern edge of Scotland’s Highland whisky region. Tullibardine Distillery produces a range of single malt whiskies and excellent whisky ales and visitors are welcome at the distillery visitor centre which has a café and offers distillery tours. No tasting notes at present.

The Distillery

Tullibardine Distillery, established in 1949 by Wm Delmé-Evans, is located in Blackford village, Perthshire, on the site of a 12th-century brewery. Positioned near the southern edge of the Highland whisky region, it operates with four stills and has expanded its range to include premium expressions like Tullibardine 20 Year Old and 25 Year Old, along with wood finishes such as Sauternes, Burgundy, and Sherry cask finishes. Independent bottlings, including standout single casks, are available through Hunter Laing and Gordon & MacPhail, showcasing the distillery’s rich tradition and craftsmanship.
