Tasting Notes
Nose: Vanilla fudge, leather, cinammon and cloves, honeycomb, orange zest, mango and stewed apples. Taste: Buttered toasted fruit loaf, black grapes, creme caramel, barley sugar, orange sherbet, creamy fudge and roasted coffee beans. Finish: Soft and dry sweet sherry, cocoa, hint of smoke and citrus.

On November 14th, 1969, Apollo 12 launched from the Kennedy Space Center. Just after lift-off the Saturn V rocket was twice struck by lightning affecting telemetry measurements on the spacecraft. To avoid a potential disaster, EECOM engineer John Aaron in Mission Control suggested the pilot switch the Signal Conditioning Electronics to auxiliar. "Try SCE to AUX".

Tomatin
Tomatin Distillery, founded in 1897, operated with just two stills until 1956, after which rapid expansions led to 23 stills by 1986, making it Scotland’s largest distillery at the time. Today, it operates with eight stills out of its twelve. Nestled near the Cairngorms National Park at an altitude of 315m, it is Scotland's third-highest distillery, producing distinctive Highland single malts.
