John Keith established Strathmill Distillery in 1891 on a prim site between the River Isla and the Great North of Scotland Railway. Strathmill is a malt whisky distillery situated in the town of Keith in Scotland’s Speyside whisky region. One of a small number of Scottish malt whisky distilleries with purifiers fitted to its spirit stills, between the lyne arm and the condenser, till to produce an elegantly light and fruity malt whisky.
Nose: Sweet vanilla with hints of honey and green apple. Complimented by delicate floral and toasted malt aromas.
Palate: White pepper initially with ripe banana, orange and raspberry. These combine with hints toast marshmallow and milk chocolate.
