Tasting Notes
Hunter Laing Tasting Notes:
This lightly golden whisky has a nose of lemon, freshly cut grass, and milk chocolate. The palate is sweet and mellow with berries, sherbet and cinnamon leading into a long, smooth finish with lingering sweetness.
TWB Tasting Notes:
Nose: Elegant and inviting, with layers of vanilla custard, sweet toffee, and subtle tropical fruit – think ripe banana and pineapple – mingling with a gentle oakiness. A hint of honey and soft floral notes add depth to the aroma.
Palate: Silky smooth and beautifully balanced. Initial flavors of creamy caramel and vanilla intertwine with notes of toasted coconut and gentle spices, such as cinnamon and nutmeg. The oak influence is delicate, with just enough tannin to provide structure without overpowering the sweetness.
Finish: Long and warming, leaving a delightful echo of soft oak, creamy vanilla, and a touch of dark chocolate. Hints of lingering spices and a subtle, fruity sweetness carry through to the end, making each sip memorable.
