TWB Tasting Notes:
Nose: Fresh and vibrant aromas of green apples, pear drops, and citrus zest greet the senses. The influence of fresh sherry casks imparts notes of raisins, sultanas, and a hint of vanilla. Subtle undertones of malted barley and a delicate waft of coastal sea breeze add depth and complexity.
Palate: A youthful yet rich palate, bursting with flavors of dried fruits like figs and dates. Sweet toffee and caramel intertwine with spicy notes of cinnamon and nutmeg. The signature Springbank brininess is present, accompanied by a gentle touch of peat smoke that enhances rather than overpowers the sherry sweetness.
Finish: Medium to long, with lingering notes of sweet sherry, dark chocolate, and a slight nuttiness. Hints of oak spice and a soft, smoky undertone fade gracefully, leaving a warm and satisfying aftertaste.
