A very elusive bottling from the 20th Century.
From the Diageo Rare Malts series. A limited edition of individually numbered bottles released way back in 1999. Now becoming highly sought after.
Rosebank
Rosebank Distillery was established in Falkirk in 1840 by James Rankine. Rosebank Distillery was situated at the junction of the Forth and Clyde Canal and the Union Canal in Scotland’s Lowland whisky region and was equipped with three copper stills and round wooden worm tubs. Rosebank was a malt whisky distillery which produced triple distilled whisky but closed in 1993. Many of Rosebank Distillery’s buildings have been demolished and it is now a lost Scottish Lowland malt whisky distillery.
Very dry, flowery aromas soon reveal the big, soft meadow-flour flavours of delicious, firm, silky bodies malt with a very long, sweetly dry finish.
