Tasting Notes

Nose: Rolling kiln smoke and briny sea-spray weave through raisin loaf, orange-peel marmalade, leather polish and a hint of espresso crema. Palate: Silky yet powerful—layers of charred driftwood, treacle toffee and liquorice root flood the tongue, followed by black-cherry chocolate, cracked pepper and a bright flash of candied citrus zest. Finish: Long, smouldering and elegantly dry—lingering ember-like peat, sherry-soaked fruitcake, saline caramel and refined oak spice.
