Sail into Wick’s maritime heritage with Old Pulteney 14 Year Old – 2006 Vintage, Hart Brothers Single Cask. Distilled in January 2006 and drawn from a single sherry butt in July 2020, this Highland malt melds the distillery’s hallmark sea-spray brine with opulent layers of dried fruit, toffee and gentle spice. Bottled at natural cask strength and left non-chill-filtered, only a limited parcel of bottles were released—capturing the unmistakable “Maritime Malt” at its sherried best.

Why We Think You’ll Love It:

  • Single-cask expression from a first-fill sherry butt, marrying coastal salinity with decadent dried-fruit richness.

  • 14 years of maturation balance Old Pulteney’s crisp, maritime spirit with luxurious sherry depth.

  • Bottled by Hart Brothers at natural strength, non-chill-filtered and natural colour for full texture and flavour integrity.

  • A limited release ideal for collectors and sherried-malt enthusiasts seeking a distinctive taste of Wick’s windswept coast.

Set your course for the Caithness shores with this sumptuous Old Pulteney—where sea-borne freshness meets indulgent sherry sweetness in every dram.

Tasting Notes

Nose: A breeze of salted caramel and coastal air drifts over rich raisin loaf, orange marmalade and polished oak. Palate: Silky waves of treacle toffee, fig jam and sweet malt glide across the tongue, wrapped in warm cinnamon, dark chocolate and a subtle nip of sea salt. Finish: Long, warming and lightly drying—lingering notes of sherry-soaked fruitcake, mellow oak spice and a final briny twang.
