Taste Dufftown’s muscular spirit refined by decades of slumber with Mortlach 26 Year Old – 1989 Vintage, Douglas Laing “Xtra Old Particular” (Cask #10774).
Distilled using Mortlach’s famed “2.81” still set-up and filled into a refill bourbon hogshead on 6 June 1989, this single malt matured for twenty-six years before Douglas Laing bottled it at natural cask strength for their coveted XOP series in June 2015. Un-chill-filtered and natural in colour, only 270 individually numbered bottles capture Mortlach’s savoury, meaty core elegantly laced with honeyed oak, citrus zest and polished vanilla.
