Nose Fragrant and bold, with aromas of orchard fruits, honey, vanilla, citrus peel, and a hint of oak char.
Palate Full-bodied and powerful, delivering flavours of apple, pear, malted barley, creamy vanilla, and honey, layered with spice, herbs, and Mortlach’s savoury depth.
Finish Long and warming, with lingering fruit sweetness, oak spice, and Mortlach’s signature meaty complexity.

Distilled in 2008 and matured in a single first fill bourbon barrel (#800115), this limited edition release was bottled at natural cask strength 55.9% ABV. With only 184 individually numbered bottles, it captures Mortlach’s famously rich and meaty spirit, balanced by bourbon-cask sweetness and spice.
