Tasting Notes
TWB Tasting Notes:
Nose: The aroma opens with rich dried fruits, reminiscent of raisins and figs, complemented by a hint of sweet vanilla from the ex-Bourbon cask. There are also undertones of nutty almond and a subtle spiciness, likely from the Oloroso sherry wood.
Palate: On the palate, this whisky offers a harmonious blend of flavors. Expect a luxurious sweetness with notes of caramel and honey, balanced by a richer, deeper taste of dark chocolate and a robust sherry influence. The oak lends a slight woody character, with a touch of cinnamon and clove spice adding complexity.
Finish: The finish is long and warming, with a lingering sweetness and a continued spice presence. The oak influence persists, leaving a pleasant dryness with traces of toasted nuts and a final echo of sherry.
