Bottle Information
Tasting Notes
Miltonduff 18 Year Old 2008 Signatory Cask Strength is a richly matured Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, independently bottled by Signatory Vintage for its acclaimed Cask Strength Collection. Distilled in 2008 and bottled in October 2026, this 18 year old release was matured in first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry butt #4, yielding 690 individually numbered bottles at 52.4% ABV. Miltonduff is known for a soft, fruity and malty Speyside style, and the influence of first-fill PX sherry oak adds considerable depth and richness. Expect layers of raisins, figs, dark chocolate and treacle alongside orchard fruit, honeyed malt and gentle spice. The result is a full-bodied yet balanced expression with plenty of mature sherry character. At 18 years old, the whisky shows excellent integration between spirit and cask, while the 52.4% ABV preserves texture, intensity and complexity. The first-fill PX butt brings concentration and sweetness without overwhelming the underlying Miltonduff character, making this a compelling release for fans of mature sherried Speyside whisky.
