Nose: Waves of raisin syrup, heather honey and orange peel roll over vanilla tablet, polished oak and a dusting of cinnamon. Palate: Silky bursts of fig jam, treacle toffee and sweet malt coat the tongue, chased by clove-spiked chocolate, roasted hazelnut and a bright flash of candied citrus. Finish: Medium-long, warming and gently dry—lingering sherry-soaked fruitcake, mellow oak spice and a final flourish of vanilla-malt sweetness.
