Mannochmore 22 Year Old Rare Malts 1974

Bottled way back in 1997. A very collectable official bottling from the now discontinued Rare Malts series. Mannochmore Mannochmore Distillery was established in 1971 in Scotland’s Speyside whisky region alongside an elderly neighbour which dates from 1876. Mannochmore is equipped with eight larch washbacks and six stills and produced Loch Dhu the now sought after ‘black’ single malt whisky by maturation of Mannochmore malt whisky in heavily charred oak casks. Mannochmore typically produces a light single malt with fragrant vanilla and malty notes. No tasting notes at present.
