TWB Tasting Notes:
Nose: Rich and inviting, with notes of dried figs, raisins, and smoky embers. Hints of dark chocolate, toasted hazelnuts, and red berry compote add layers of complexity, complemented by a whisper of leather and earthy spice.
Palate: Velvety and full-bodied, opening with flavors of treacle, dark fruits, and spiced oak. The peat smoke is perfectly balanced, enhancing notes of blackcurrants, plums, and a touch of orange zest. A subtle nuttiness and gentle sweetness from the port casks linger beautifully.
Finish: Long and warming, with a harmonious blend of sweet and savory. Waves of smoky oak, dried fruits, and a gentle hint of salt fade into a satisfying, slightly tannic conclusion.
